About HNC

HNC is an inclusive, diverse and passionate College community. With over 2300 students, we are a large provider of post-16 education offering a diverse range of Level 3 study programmes. Students can opt for A Level or Applied (BTEC) qualifications, or a combination of the two, with entry criteria to courses tailored accordingly.

The content of this section shares more about what you can expect as a member of our College community. Here you will find more detailed information about our culture, and more practical information about employee benefits and our structure.

Our teaching and operations staff come from a wide range of backgrounds. Ultimately we want to hear from applicants who believe and share our passion for making our vision, mission and values a lived daily reality for students and who are also committed to becoming their best selves.

HNC is currently undergoing the academisation process, and we hope to be awarded Multi-Academy Trust status within the next 12 months.
